Shoulder Patient - Sports Injury

Dr. Abdul Foad repaired both of my shoulders. I remember that first shoulder surgery around eight years ago, complete rotator tear along with the bicep tendon tear. I was devastated because of the recovery time and that it would simply cramp my lifestyle. Thinking it would never be this bad knowing I could still do so many things.

After years of weightlifting, wrestling, arm wrestling and other strenuous activities it was time I just couldn’t sleep anymore and the pain was too much. I even tried every gimmick there was out there being advertised for shoulder pain. This was when I met Dr. Foad, I heard many good things, and followed up with people who had prior surgeries and follow-up care through him. From start to finish, Dr. Foad was involved along with an amazing staff where it really did feel like family and friends.

I’ve just recently had my second shoulder surgery. Same exact issues, just a little older without any problems. Again, Dr. Foad, his team and physical therapy were wonderful. They all do really care; you’re not just a number. Being a hometown boy and receiving care like this right here in our community really makes a difference. Now only if this guy was my family practitioner, I simply wouldn’t have to see anyone else.
